Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 643 p4p, 82 weight class) and Big Guns (ranked 728 p4p, 96 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws an overhand right that lands on Guns's shoulder, as Guns tries to avoid the shot.
Guns misses with a body shot.
Guns lands a jab to the head.
Boy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boy cracks Guns with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Boy throws a hook to the side of Guns's head but Guns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Guns looks to land a left hand but Boy moved out of range nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Guns blocks the leg kick.
Guns doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Guns ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Boy slips under a jab from Guns.
Boy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Boy counters with a slapping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guns avoids the body shot from Boy.
Boy dips to his left and cracks Guns with an uppercut!

Guns lands with an uppercut that bounces Boy off the cage and back into range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guns clobbers Boy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Big Guns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guns swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boy swings away with a body shot that misses
and Boy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Guns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Guns throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boy fires out a quick counter leg kick but Guns just manages to avoid it.
Boy is looking to wear down Guns with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Boy throws a good cross that connects.
Guns takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Guns.
Guns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Boy lunges at Guns with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Guns's hand.
A head kick misses from Guns.
Boy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Boy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guns.
