Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perdue Willshire (ranked 21317 p4p, 119 weight class) and Marcus Harris (ranked 7484 p4p, 116 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perdue Willshire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Harris!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Willshire tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Harris is in Willshire's guard.
Harris stays in close to Willshire's body and controls the position.
Willshire wants to stand but Harris is controlling the position.

Willshire working for a triangle but Harris defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willshire tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Willshire keeps the fight on the outside.
It looked like Willshire was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Harris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Willshire quickly recovers to half guard.

Willshire has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Harris is on him like a limpet, forcing Willshire back against the cage.

Willshire tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Harris trying to control but Willshire is working from the bottom.
Harris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willshire tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harris slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Willshire is trying to control Harris's posture but Harris avoids it.

Harris is trying to get an arm triangle but Willshire is defending well.

Harris stands up and beckons Willshire to his feet.
Willshire waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Harris.
Harris changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Harris is looking to land body kicks.
Willshire dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Harris working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Harris prevents Willshire from escaping the position.
Harris tries to score with some ground and pound. Willshire controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Willshire is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marcus Harris will probably get the nod.
That's time! Willshire's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Willshire shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet.
Willshire postures up and lands a big shot to Harris's brow.
Harris is trying to keep Willshire in close.

Harris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Willshire's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Willshire's back!

Willshire is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Harris.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Harris doesn't have the hooks in and Willshire manages to turn into his guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harris has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Willshire is working away from the top position though.

Willshire is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harris defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Perdue Willshire dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Willshire swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Willshire fails with a takedown attempt.

Harris throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Harris counters with a one-two to the body.

Willshire gets a takedown into half guard.
Willshire wants to control but Harris is keeping him busy.
Willshire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are battling for position here. Harris manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

and Harris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Willshire swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Willshire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Willshire works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Perdue Willshire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willshire takes a jab right on the kisser.
Willshire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harris manages to avoid it.

and Harris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Willshire fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harris unleashes a big counter combination but Willshire bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marcus Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
