The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mccarthy as Ferg shoots in.
Mccarthy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ferg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mccarthy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ferg swats away the attempt to clinch by Mccarthy.
Ferg lands with an uppercut that bounces Mccarthy off the cage and back into range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ferg is defended easily by Mccarthy.
Tony Ferg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roberto Mccarthy will probably get the nod.

Ferg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mccarthy tries to avoid it but Ferg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mccarthy to the ground. Mccarthy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mccarthy throws a big counter combination but Ferg scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
