Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pinchi Puto (ranked 847 p4p, 102 weight class) and Afa Sila (ranked 1416 p4p, 171 weight class). Sila has chosen Samoa Joe - Destroyer (Entrance Theme) as his entrance music. Pinchi Puto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sila throws a leg kick but Puto checks it.
Puto misses with a right hand
and Sila counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Puto jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Puto loads up on a big right hand but Sila slips the punch.
Puto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sila moves away.
Puto takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sila tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Puto was well out of range. Poor timing from Sila.
Puto scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sila throws a leg kick but Puto checks it.
A little feinted left hand from Puto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Puto looks to land a combination but Sila avoids it well.
A telegraphed right hand from Puto misses the target.

Puto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sila manages to avoid it.
Sila moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Puto throws the left hand but Sila avoids the punch easily.
Puto scores with a hook to the body. Sila takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Puto tries to bum rush Sila with a series of wild strikes but Sila uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Puto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sila.
Sila moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A punch lands to the side of Puto 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Puto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sila, pushing him back against the cage.
Sila swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Puto blocking some punches.
Puto throws an elbow that misses.
Sila takes a knee right on the jaw!
A shot in the inside from Sila.
Puto unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Puto throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Silas head.

Sila lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Puto backwards.
Sila takes an elbow to the temple.

Puto pushes off an throws an elbow but Sila leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Sila breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Puto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puto's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Puto duly obliges.

Sila is rocked!

Sila is still on wobbly legs! Can Puto finish him?

Puto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sila moves away.

Sila lunges at Puto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Puto's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sila smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sila has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Puto finds it's way round the side to connect with Sila's head.

Sila avoids the head kick by Puto.
Sila is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Puto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Puto throws a big shot that misses.

Puto went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sila looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sila lands with a straight right. Puto didn't see that one coming.
Puto throws out a loose jab but Sila uses good head movement to avoid it.
Puto lands a jab to the head.
Puto throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sila stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sila stalks Puto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Puto's face. Puto staggers backwards, shaken.
Sila lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Puto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sila, pushing him back against the cage.
Sila on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sila tries to throw a body punch but Puto avoids it by throwing Sila back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Puto - that landed with a thud.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Puto just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sila's brow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pinchi Puto dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sila lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sila cracks Puto with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Puto throws out a powerful jab.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Puto has cracked Sila with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Puto lands another huge swinging hook and Sila tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Sila, before Puto can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pinchi Puto!
A pretty intense looking Pinchi Puto took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
Afa Sila was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry Bro Gonna Win Next Fight Bro'.
