Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doko Dokov (ranked 2898 p4p, 333 weight class) and Samuel Westcliff (ranked 2018 p4p, 250 weight class). Doko Dokov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doko Dokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samuel Westcliff!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Westcliff does no damage.
Dokov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A lazy left from Westcliff finds it's target.
Westcliff has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Westcliff throws a big shot that misses.
Dokov jabs Westcliff right on the nose. Westcliff blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Samuel Westcliff has been cut.

Westcliff tries to keep at a distance but Dokov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dokov connects with a nasty looking knee right to Westcliff's face.

Dokov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dokov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Westcliff lands with a cross.
It looks like Doko Dokov has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Westcliff throws a nice looking combination but Dokov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dokov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Dokov has Westcliff pressed against the cage, preventing Westcliff from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Westcliff.
Westcliff tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Dokov throws a head punch that misses.
Dokov lands a hook that snaps the head of Westcliff backwards.

Dokov wants to get back to his feet but Westcliff passes into half guard.
Westcliff stands up and beckons Dokov to join him on the feet.
Westcliff throws a series of strikes that have Dokov backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Westcliff fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dokov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Westcliff throws a series of punches but Dokov moves out of range.
Dokov shoots in but no luck this time.
Westcliff throws out a counter right but Dokov avoids it with no problem.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dokov.
Westcliff looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dokov tries to clinch but Westcliff moves out of range.

Westcliff uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Samuel Westcliff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Westcliff has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Westcliff lands the left hand.
Westcliff lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dokov is rocked!
Westcliff lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dokov falls backwards - clearly groggy! Westcliff dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Westcliff!
After winning the bout, Samuel Westcliff thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
