The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prewitt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stephenson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Stephenson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Prewitt wants to control but Stephenson is keeping him busy.
Prewitt moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Prewitt throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Stephenson bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Prewitt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stephenson sprawls well initially but Prewitt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stephenson is controlling Prewitt's trapped leg to prevent Prewitt from advancing to side control.
Stephenson wants to get back to full guard.
Stephenson is trying to stand up here but Prewitt is controlling him well.

Stephenson manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Prewitt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stephenson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Prewitt is in Stephenson's guard.

Prewitt has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stephenson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Prewitt is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stephenson pulls down on the head and he's put Prewitt to sleep! This one is all over!
