Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Burl Chandler (ranked 4786 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Ramos (ranked 6388 p4p, 0 weight class). Julio Ramos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler leaves Ramos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chandler tries to counter by clinching up but Ramos breaks away and moves out of range.
Ramos shoots for a double leg takedown but Chandler sprawls well. He's pushed Ramos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ramos throws a right and a left that both miss.

Chandler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ramos on his heels. He'll look to pass Ramos's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chandler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Chandler postures up in Ramos's guard and throws a big left but Ramos blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ramos working for a triangle but Chandler defends it easily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ramos shoots in looking for a takedown. Chandler tries to sprawl out of it but Ramos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chandler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chandler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chandler has managed to get both his arms back between Ramos's legs - danger averted.

Chandler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chandler lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chandler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Chandler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ramos gets tackled into the cage by Chandler. Chandler maintains the clinch.
Chandler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ramos just stands there and leans against the cage.
Chandler is pressed up against the cage. Ramos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chandler down to the mat. Chandler avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Burl Chandler will probably get the nod.
