Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lino Dodson (ranked 24800 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Bunt (ranked 4458 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Bunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Bunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Dodson, which made it look bad.
It looked like Dodson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dodson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bunt counters with a three punch combo that has Dodson backing up. Dodson nods at Bunt to acknowledge the strikes.

Bunt closes the distance and clinches.

Dodson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bunt defends it easily.

Dodson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bunt wants to stand and escape but instead Dodson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dodson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Dodson rushes Bunt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dodson is trying to break the clinch but Bunt is controlling him.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dodson throws an elbow but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dodson shoots in but Bunt avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bunt has closed the distance and engaged Dodson in a clinch.
Bunt tries to pull guard but Dodson holds him up against the cage and eventually Bunt drops back down to his feet.

Dodson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dodson gets control of Bunt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dodson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dodson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bunt has managed to get both his arms back between Dodson's legs - danger averted.

Dodson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bunt throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dodson's body to avoid the submission. Dodson has instead reached around Bunt's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dodson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
