Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Garrett (ranked 6420 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Shamrock (ranked 5016 p4p, 475 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garrett swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Shamrock darts in and clinches Garrett up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Shamrock breaks from the clinch.
Shamrock moves into the clinch.
Garrett tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shamrock avoids it.
Shamrock with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Garrett prevents Shamrock from breaking the clinch.
Shamrock tries to land knees in the clinch but Garrett avoids the damage to the body.
Garrett gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shamrock.
Garrett is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shamrock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shamrock lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Chauncey Garrett has been cut.
Shamrock throws a series of punches but Garrett avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Garrett slaps away a takedown attempt from Shamrock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garrett misses with a takedown attempt - Shamrock sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shamrock wants to clinch.
It looked like Garrett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Shamrock drops Garrett with a beautiful combination! Garrett stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shamrock is looking for the KO!
Garrett is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Shamrock has cracked Garrett with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Shamrock lands another huge swinging hook and Garrett tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Garrett, before Shamrock can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chance Shamrock!
