The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fergersun moves into range and clinches up with Callahan.

Callahan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fergersun is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Fergersun throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Callahan escapes and throws Fergersun's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Callahan grinds an elbow into Fergersun's temple.

Callahan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fergersun, who protects the arm well.
Fergersun tries to buck Callahan off but Callahan is having none of it.
Callahan working the head with strikes.
Callahan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Callahan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Fergersun wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Callahan has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Fergersun's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Fergersun is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Callahan!
