Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 5784 p4p, 176 weight class) and Justice Times (ranked 5788 p4p, 112 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobar !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justice Times !
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Times closes the distance and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Times 's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Escobar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Times gets caught napping as Escobar dives in and scores a takedown. Times manages to retain guard.
Escobar wants to stand but Times has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Escobar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Escobar stands and throws Times 's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Escobar wants to stand but Times has his arm trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Times tries to improve position but can't.
Escobar has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Escobar looking to finish Times with some ground and pound. This is bad for Times !
Escobar lands a couple of good shots and Times has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Times trying to get back to his feet but Escobar is in full control for now.
Times trying to control the hands but Escobar won't let him.

Times is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Escobar gets his way!

Escobar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Escobar is punishing Times with some ground and pound.
Times trying to control the hands but Escobar won't let him.

Escobar looking to break Times 's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Times remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Escobar will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Escobar is trying to stick to Times 's back but Times is turning into Escobar . He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Escobar 's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Times .

Times keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Escobar 's head.

Escobar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Escobar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Escobar has momentary wrist control but Times slips an elbow through the middle.
Escobar is trying to control the position but Times postures up.
Escobar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Escobar tries to get out of the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Escobar keeping moving, preventing Times from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
No luck for Times with that takedown attempt.
Times fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Escobar avoids it really well and circles away.

Escobar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Times wants to get back to his feet but Escobar is dominant here and he's now got Times 's back!

Times dives in and scores a takedown into Escobar 's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Escobar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Times got a little sloppy there for a moment and Escobar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Times has managed to get both his arms back between Escobar 's legs - danger averted.
Escobar doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Times slips nicely into half guard.
Times tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Escobar .

Times thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Escobar lands a couple of elbows.
Escobar 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Times trying to keep a closed guard but Escobar is proving a slippery customer.
Escobar is standing up over Times . Times looks to escape but Escobar dives into side control.
Times tries to improve position but can't.
Escobar trying to control the action but Times is working from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Escobar wants to stand but Times has his arm trapped.
Times can't do much from the bottom here.
Times misses with a strike from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Escobar keeps the fight on the outside.
Times tries to clinch up.
Escobar is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Times .

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Escobar will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Escobar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Times 's half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Escobar in particular looking to stall.

Escobar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Times swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Escobar won't allow Times to sweep him here.

Times had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Escobar defends it easily.

Escobar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Escobar lands in his opponent's guard.

Times has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Escobar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Escobar wants to get up but he can't break Times 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Times can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Escobar controls the pace.

Times is looking to sweep but instead, Escobar has passed into half guard.
Nice strikes from Escobar there.
Escobar is nestled in close to Times , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Times keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Escobar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Times wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, if Escobar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Escobar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Times for as long as he can get away with.
Escobar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Times can do to turn this around?
