The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper wants to clinch but Dawoud slips to the side
and Cooper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dawoud circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cooper tries to clinch but Dawoud moves out of range.
Cooper moves in looking to clinch but Dawoud pushes him off.
It seemed like Dawoud was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dawoud jabs Cooper to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Winston Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
