The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clay sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat.
Jordan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Clay moves into the clinch.
Clay misses with a knee to the head.
Clay throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jordan blocks it with crossed arms.
Jordan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Clay gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jordan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Jordan half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Clay moves to clinch but Jordan breaks away
and Jordan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jordan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clay, pushing him back against the cage.
Jordan is trying to push Clay away but Clay has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Clay lands a knee to the head.
Jordan is looking to break free of the clinch but Clay has double underhooks.
Clay lands an elbow inside that Jordan shrugs off.
Clay looking to throw knees to the head but Jordan is blocking nicely.
Jordan can't break the clinch.
Clay tries to land a knee to the head but Jordan blocks with his arms.
Clay misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jordan.
Jordan pulls Clay into guard.
Clay is posturing up here but Jordan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Clay tries to roll out but it's too tight and Clay has to tap! Slick submission there by Jordan!

Jason Jordan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
