The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whippet drives through with a takedown into guard.
Whippet trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Austin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Whippet is looking to stand up but Austin won't let him.
Whippet throws a strike but Austin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Whippet has his foot on Austin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Austin works his way back into a safe position though.

Whippet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Austin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Austin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Austin connects with a nice short shot to Whippet's temple.
