Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Test Fighter A (ranked 3108 p4p, 356 weight class) and Ross Tyson (ranked 2379 p4p, 277 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Test Fighter A!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ross Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter A lands a head shot.
Test Fighter A seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fighter A punishes Tyson's body with a nice straight punch.
Fighter A definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A jab from Fighter A finds it's way through Tyson's defenses.
Tyson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fighter A.
Fighter A dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tyson needs to keep his hands up - Fighter A had a free shot at his head there.
Tyson's coach down at DRAGON MMA - 13 Elite & 2 Double Elite Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tyson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And Tyson tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter A pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fighter A lands a lovely overhand right.
Fighter A scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Fighter A gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fighter A can't break the clinch.
Fighter A is trying to break free.
Fighter A lands an uppercut.
Fighter A has had enough of the clinch but Tyson keeps him there for the moment.
Fighter A tries to break free but Tyson pushes him back against the cage.
Tyson has Fighter A pressed against the cage, preventing Fighter A from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Fighter A is pressed up against the cage. Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fighter A down to the mat. Fighter A avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Tyson gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Tyson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tyson there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fighter A misses with a looping right.
Fighter A lands a right hook to the body.
Fighter A fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tyson looks winded!
Tyson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tyson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fighter A connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyson scrambles back to his feet.
Fighter A fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tyson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fighter A throws a right and a left that both miss.
And Tyson tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter A pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fighter A scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tyson doesn't seem bothered though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Test Fighter A dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fighter A stuns Tyson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A jab lands there for Fighter A.
Fighter A throws a body punch but Tyson moves out of range.
Tyson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Fighter A connects with a single shot there.
Fighter A misses with a two punch combination.

Fighter A throws a lazy right hand but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fighter A lands with a hook. Tyson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fighter A connects with the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyson circles away quickly and effectively.
Fighter A scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fighter A uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fighter A throws a hook but Tyson avoids it easily.

Tyson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fighter A.

Fighter A throws a left and a right that both miss

and Tyson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter A won't be happy with that.

Fighter A wants to control but Tyson postures up.

Tyson wants to work for an arm triangle but Fighter A is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tyson stops Fighter A from getting back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Fighter A lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tyson backs up against the cage.
Tyson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fighter A cracks Tyson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tyson has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Fighter A missing with a left hand there. Tyson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fighter A.
A left and a right from Fighter A both land. Nice combination.
Fighter A wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fighter A ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Test Fighter A is winning the standup battle so far.
Fighter A misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tyson.
And Tyson tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter A pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fighter A tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyson was well out of range. Poor timing from Fighter A.
Tyson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fighter A moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fighter A lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tyson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fighter A.
Tyson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fighter A connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fighter A throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fighter A thuds his right hand into Tyson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ross Tyson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fighter A scores with a nice right hand.
Tyson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fighter A, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
