The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers misses with a few strikes there.
Powers misses with the combination.
Salazar was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Salazar looks to land a combination but Powers avoids it well.
Salazar dodges the punch combination from Powers.
Salazar half committed to a counter leg kick.
Powers throws a body punch but Salazar moves out of range.
Salazar lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Powers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Powers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salazar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salazar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Powers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salazar somewhat.

Salazar jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Powers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Powers scores with a shot to the body.

Powers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Salazar is rocked!
Powers wobbles Salazar with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Powers dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Salazar to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
