Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lakoj Dresden (ranked 1155 p4p, 153 weight class) and Spencer Rubenstein (ranked 705 p4p, 98 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dresden tries to close the distance and clinch but Rubenstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dresden dives in and grabs Rubenstein's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rubenstein pushes down on Dresden's head and hops out.
Nice takedown defense from Rubenstein. No joy for Dresden on that attempt.
