Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Three Dog (ranked 32 p4p, 6 weight class) and Foot Fungus (ranked 63 p4p, 10 weight class). Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Fallout. Foot Fungus acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fungus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dog feints and then cracks Fungus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fungus down.
Fungus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dog looks to throw the jab but Fungus is out of range.
Fungus's coach down at Men Only. No Liberals ! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fungus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Dog blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fungus has had enough of the clinch but Dog keeps him there for the moment.

Dog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fungus.
Dog swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Dog pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fungus is out of range and Dog settles back down.
Fungus is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Dog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fungus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fungus motions for Dog to come forward. Fungus throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Dog has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fungus finds it's way round the side to connect with Dog's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Dog wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dog does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters circling - Dog throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dog has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Dog's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fungus connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dog scrambles back to his feet.

Fungus cracks Dog with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fungus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dog to stand back up!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fungus throws an uppercut from hell that sends Dog clean off his feet! He's out cold! Fungus stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
