Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tae Shik Cha (ranked 2948 p4p, 171 weight class) and Mamoru Takamura (ranked 2695 p4p, 159 weight class). Cha comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Decadence. Takamura has chosen Pay Money To My Pain - Weight Of My Pride as his entrance music. Tae Shik Cha had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Mamoru Takamura acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Cha throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Takamura counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cha thinking.
Cha walks into a jab.
Cha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A swing and a miss from Takamura.
Takamura misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Takamura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A lazy left from Cha finds it's target.

Cha moves out of range of the strikes.
Cha throws a big shot that misses.
Takamura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A good leg kick by Cha.
Takamura seems to have recovered his senses.
Takamura tries to clinch but Cha moves out of range.
Cha moves forwards but Takamura connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Takamura throws a looping overhand right but Cha ducks down to avoid it.
Cha missing with a left hand there. Takamura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Cha throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Takamura is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Cha connects with a body shot that sends Takamura's belly button to the back.
Cha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Takamura.

Cha cracks Takamura with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Takamura looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cha finish him?

It looks like Mamoru Takamura has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cha lands with a shot to the body.

Takamura digs a good body shot into Cha's ribs.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Takamura misses with the combination.
Takamura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Takamura looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cha lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Takamura has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Takamura and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Takamura looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Takamura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cha comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cha looks to land a right hand but Takamura moved out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Takamura. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Takamura.

Takamura throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Cha to counter with a crisp jab.
Cha throws a hook but Takamura blocks it.

and Cha counters with a crisp right hand that drops Takamura! Cha lets Takamura back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

After the fight, Tae Shik Cha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
