And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Grant!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Main Event dodges the punch combination from Grant.
No luck for Main Event with that takedown attempt.
Main Event misses with a jab, cross combination.
Main Event showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grant.

Main Event has Grant up against the cage in a clinch.
Main Event has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Grant is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Grant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Grant throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like ShowStopper Main Event has been cut.
Main Event misses with a takedown attempt - Grant sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ShowStopper Main Event. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice combo by Grant! Oh, that's hurt him - Main Event falls to the canvas and Grant follows him into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Main Event knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grant on the ground.

Grant decides to stand up, so the ref orders Main Event to his feet.
Grant falls off balance throwing a combination
and Main Event counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Main Event looks for a takedown but Grant sprawls well.
Grant drops Main Event with a beautiful combination! Main Event stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Grant is looking for the KO!
Oh Main Event is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grant misses with a combination

and Main Event counters by clinching up.
Main Event seems to have got his legs back now.
Grant wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Grant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Grant stuffs the takedown.
Main Event is breathing heavily.
Grant fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Grant throws a head kick that half lands.

Grant scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grant lands some shots froms side control.

Grant decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Grant scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grant throws a left that rocks Main Event and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Grant dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Main Event regain composure!
Grant connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Main Event some visible discomfort.
Grant lands a strong strike to the head of Main Event. That's dazed him! Grant looking to finish here. Main Event is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Grant lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
