Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Seehaver (ranked 1974 p4p, 226 weight class) and Omero Hyuyu (ranked 3861 p4p, 400 weight class). Omero Hyuyu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Omero Hyuyu!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyuyu falls off balance throwing a combination
and Seehaver counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyuyu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seehaver is aware though and is defending well.
Hyuyu wants to sweep here but Seehaver controlling him for the moment.
Seehaver is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seehaver seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hyuyu for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Omero Hyuyu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyuyu connects with a body shot that sends Seehaver's belly button to the back.
Seehaver closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hyuyu regains half guard.
Seehaver wants to free his trapped foot but Hyuyu is holding on for dear life with his legs.
