PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dardan Douchebag (ranked 2973 p4p, 270 weight class) and Burke Heimer (ranked 2514 p4p, 237 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Douchebag might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Donkey. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimer scores with a jab to the jaw.
Heimer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Douchebag doesn't seem bothered though.
Heimer jabs Douchebag right on the nose. Douchebag blinks but takes it well.
Heimer throws out a loose jab but Douchebag uses good head movement to avoid it.
Heimer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Douchebag is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Heimer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Heimer misses with a looping left.
Nice takedown defense from Heimer . No joy for Douchebag on that attempt.
Douchebag shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Heimer sprawls well. Heimer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Douchebag gets slowly back to his feet.
Douchebag goes for a double leg but Heimer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Heimer continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dardan Douchebag. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Douchebag scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Heimer wants to control but Douchebag is keeping busy.
Heimer has hold of Douchebag's hands but Douchebag slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Douchebag thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Douchebag throws a big elbow that misses.
Heimer is trying to keep Douchebag in close.
Douchebag is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Heimer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Douchebag can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Heimer is tightening it up a little... Douchebag has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Douchebag reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Douchebag taps out! Nice BJJ there by Heimer !
