Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Clancy (ranked 2786 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamil Westwood (ranked 24753 p4p, 0 weight class). Westwood has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Westwood sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Clancy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Westwood pulls his leg out and moves away.
Clancy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Westwood defends well and Clancy ends up having to push Westwood into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Westwood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Clancy is pushing down on Westwood's leg trying to pass to half guard. Westwood is fighting to maintain full guard but Clancy has managed to sneak the leg through.

Clancy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Westwood is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
