Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Floyd (ranked 1306 p4p, 168 weight class) and Hanzo Hattori (ranked 4165 p4p, 382 weight class). Hanzo Hattori has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fred Floyd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hanzo Hattori!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd connects with a single shot there.
Floyd catches Hattori with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A lazy left from Floyd finds it's target.
Floyd lands a nice shot that snaps Hattori's head back.
Hattori shoots in for a takedown but Floyd shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hattori.
Floyd cracks Hattori with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Floyd connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Floyd connects with a right hand. Hattori shakes it off.
The crowd cheers as Floyd lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hattori doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Floyd connects with a jab.
Hattori is rocked!
Hattori goes for a double leg but Floyd avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Floyd continues to drive forward.
Fred Floyd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanzo Hattori.
Floyd throws a series of punches but Hattori avoids them all with ease.
And Hattori tries to counter it with a takedown but Floyd pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Floyd lands with an uppercut that bounces Hattori off the cage and back into range.
Hattori is still on wobbly legs! Can Floyd finish him?
Fred Floyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hattori circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Floyd. Hattori falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Floyd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fred Floyd!
