Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott John (ranked 531 p4p, 70 weight class) and Mark Strong (ranked 342 p4p, 45 weight class). Strong has chosen Kanye West - Stronger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong checks a leg kick nicely.
Strong looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Strong throws a body shot but no joy.
John misses with a hook. Strong ducked under it nicely.
Strong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A combination from Strong does no damage.
A jab from John does it's job there.
Strong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
John definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Strong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
John lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Strong throws a leg kick
and Strong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Mark Strong has been cut.
Nice defenses there by John.
John avoids a kick to the body.
John showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Strong.
John jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
John's jab looks to have found its range, popping Strong under the eye.
Strong blocks a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
John moves out of range of the body kick from Strong.
Strong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Strong misses with a body punch
and John counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Strong throws a leg kick but John sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mark Strong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by John.
John lands with a straight right. Strong didn't see that one coming.
Strong defending well as John loads up on a big left hand.
Strong appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Strong lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Strong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
John is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Strong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Strong throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and John counters with a stiff right hand.
John connects with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

John is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

John loads up on a big right hand but Strong slips the punch.
Strong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
John throws a lazy right hand but Strong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Strong walks into a stiff left hand from John.
John swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Strong looks to land a combination but John avoids it well.
John thuds his shin into the meat of Strong's side.
Strong looks winded!
A big left from John misses.
John finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Strong misses with a hook
and John cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
John scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

The cut above Mark Strong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Strong missing with a left hand there. John was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
John jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

John cracks Strong with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. John has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Strong to stand back up!

Strong is rocked!
John shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Strong takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - John sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Strong bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

After winning the bout, Scott John thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
