PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Tylor (ranked 4567 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Booth (ranked 4955 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booth fails with the takedown
and Tylor counters with a head kick. That will keep Booth thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Booth shoots and misses

and Tylor moves into the clinch.

Tylor has Booth pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tylor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Booth tumbling to the mat - Tylor dives into Booth's guard.
Booth wants to get back to his feet but Tylor passes into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tylor connects with a nice short shot to Booth's temple.
Tylor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tylor has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Booth is trying to reverse the position but instead Tylor has taken his back - oops!
Tylor just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Booth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tylor gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Booth is trying to defend against the choke here but Tylor has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Tylor Tightens the hold and Booth taps out furiously! Tylor displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
