Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Dawson (ranked 5306 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Rodgers (ranked 3928 p4p, 405 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rodney Rodgers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Dawson lands but Rodgers takes it in his stride.

Rodgers closes the distance and clinches.

Rodgers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Pierre Dawson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dawson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rodgers drops Dawson with a beautiful combination! Dawson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rodgers is looking for the KO!

Rodgers connects with a nice cross there... Dawson is looking wobbly and Rodgers recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dawson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rodgers jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
