Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Stormchaser (ranked 4465 p4p, 436 weight class) and Wisit Songsri (ranked 5954 p4p, 495 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stormchaser blocks a head kick by Songsri.
Songsri tries to land a body kick
and Stormchaser counters with a three punch combo that has Songsri backing up. Songsri nods at Stormchaser to acknowledge the strikes.
Songsri takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stormchaser throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Songsri on the side of the head.
Stormchaser digs a good body shot into Songsri's ribs.
Songsri swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stormchaser lands with a shot to the body.
Stormchaser works over Songsri's head and body with a nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stormchaser with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stormchaser takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stormchaser was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

It looks like Wisit Songsri has been cut.
Songsri is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stormchaser.
Stormchaser catches Songsri with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Songsri walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Stormchaser drops Songsri with a beautiful combination! Songsri stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stormchaser is looking for the KO!

Songsri is rocked!
Songsri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That kick from Stormchaser tenderised Songsri's leg. Songsri is trying to keep his angry face on.
Crunch! Stormchaser slams his shin into Songsri's torso.
Songsri throws a wild hook but Stormchaser just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Songsri gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Stormchaser raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
