Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Alberto Cammareri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fred El Celso!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Celso goes for a double leg but Cammareri avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cammareri continues to drive forward.
El Celso tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cammareri sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten El Celso somewhat.
El Celso gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Fred El Celso has been cut.
El Celso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cammareri throws a big counter combination but El Celso scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Luis Alberto Cammareri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred El Celso.
Cammareri moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cammareri falls off balance throwing a combination

and El Celso counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cammareri wants to stand and escape but El Celso is having none of it.
El Celso slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Cammareri really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
El Celso has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cammareri!
Cammareri knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for El Celso on the ground.
Cammareri prevents El Celso from taking his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.

El Celso has hold of Cammareri's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cammareri manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

El Celso working for a submission but Cammareri is keeping him at bay.

El Celso working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Cammareri turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips El Celso off and cradles Cammareri's limp body as El Celso celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Fred El Celso!
