Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaultier Girard!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez lands with an uppercut that bounces Girard off the cage and back into range.
A big left from Chavez misses.
Girard moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Girard missing with a left hand there. Chavez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Girard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chavez throws out the jab.

Girard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Domingo Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Girard's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chavez under the eye.

Girard throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Chavez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Oh Chavez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Girard ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Chavez's jaw. Chavez's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Girard does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaultier Girard!
A very excited looking Gaultier Girard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
