Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jordan (ranked 5354 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bush (ranked 24456 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Ape Sh^t y the Carters. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Bush!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan clinches up with Bush and pushes him back against the cage.
Jordan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Jordan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jordan lands with a light punch inside.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jason Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bush is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jordan has managed to clinch.
Bush blocks the elbow strike.

Bush doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bush is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bush has Jordan pressed against the cage, preventing Jordan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Jordan wants to break free but Bush has control.

Jordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Bush counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jordan thinking.

Bush has closed the distance and engaged Jordan in a clinch.
Jordan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordan has his takedown stuffed
and Bush makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bush has closed the distance and engaged Jordan in a clinch.

Jordan breaks from the clinch.

Jordan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bush did well to prevent Jordan getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jordan prevents Bush from standing back up.

Well, if Jordan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jordan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bush tries to kick Jordan off in order to stand up. Jordan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jordan decides to stand back up.
Bush tries to close the distance and clinch but Jordan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jordan misses with an uppercut.
Bush now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jordan shoots for a double leg takedown but Bush sprawls well. He's pushed Jordan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bush now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bush tries to clinch but Jordan moves out of range.
Jordan is looking for a counter combo.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jordan looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Bush is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jordan presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Jordan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Jordan darts in and clinches Bush up against the cage.
Bush is pressed up against the cage. Jordan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bush down to the mat. Bush avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bush gets tackled into the cage by Jordan. Jordan maintains the clinch.
Bush looking for a takedown.
Bush goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jordan prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordan jumps guard but Bush stands there with Jordan around his waist. Jordan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jordan tries to pull guard but Bush forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Jordan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jordan wants a takedown.
Jordan has a couple of punches blocked by Bush.
Jordan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bush smiles and moves away.
Bush stuffs the takedown attempt from Jordan. Jordan gets slowly back to his feet.
Bush now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jordan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bush's waist but Bush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jordan off to one side.
A countering left hand to the body from Bush misses.
Bush doesn't manage to clinch there - Jordan circles away.

Bush clinches.
Jordan tries to break free but Bush pushes him back against the cage.

Jordan manages to break the clinch.

Jordan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jordan wants to control from the top but Bush keeps moving.
Jordan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bush wants to get back to his feet but Jordan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jordan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bush working a defensive guard here.
Jordan looking to sit in guard and control but Bush gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bush looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Jordan is looking for a triangle here but Bush uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jordan can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but George Bush will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jordan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bush sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jordan darts in and clinches Bush up against the cage.
Jordan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Bush drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jordan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bush tries a body shot but Jordan blocks it.

Jordan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bush after a bit of a struggle.
Jordan tries to score a body lock takedown but Bush shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Jordan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jordan jumps guard and drags Bush to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bush accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bush decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jordan, up you get!
Bush tries to clinch there but Jordan circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bush looks for the body kick but Jordan saw that one coming.

Jordan drives through and clinches with Bush against the cage.

Jordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jordan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bush counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Bush closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jordan to the mat! Jordan manages to get full guard.
Jordan wants to get back to his feet but Bush passes into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jordan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bush pulls his head out easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jordan tries to roll over but Bush keeps him under control.
Bush is taking a breather. Jordan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jordan wants to control the action here but instead Bush manages to pass to full mount!
Jordan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jordan is trying desperately to improve position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jordan tries to hold on but Bush postures up.
Jordan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bush controlling the pace for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
George Bush comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bush has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
