Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshima Nagasaki (ranked 4842 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatak Marines (ranked 24707 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroshima Nagasaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hiroshima Nagasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 2, fighting out of New York, Tatak Marines!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Nagasaki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A countering left hand to the body from Marines misses.
Nagasaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Marines under the eye.

Nagasaki with a nice cross.
Nagasaki connects with a single shot there.
Nagasaki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marines. Marines circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nagasaki connects with a leg kick. Marines looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Marines takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marines walks into a stiff left hand from Nagasaki.
Nagasaki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nagasaki throws a nice looking combination but Marines bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marines let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Marines takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Marines appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Marines uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nagasaki.
Marines doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Hiroshima Nagasaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nagasaki lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nagasaki scores with a head kick. Marines tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Marines makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nagasaki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Marines doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Marines shoots in looking for a takedown but Nagasaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marines's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nagasaki connects with a body shot that sends Marines's belly button to the back.
Nagasaki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nagasaki duly obliges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nagasaki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marines. That did some damage!
Nagasaki throws out a loose jab but Marines uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Marines counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Marines raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Hiroshima Nagasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Nagasaki. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nagasaki.

Nagasaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The fighters circling - Nagasaki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Marines now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Nagasaki scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nagasaki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marines stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nagasaki works Marines's body with a nice hook.
Nagasaki lands a glancing blow to the side of Marines's head.
Nagasaki is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nagasaki shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marines eats them both and turns towards Nagasaki to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Marines now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Marines is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Marines ducks right into an uppercut from Nagasaki.

Nagasaki connects with a right hand. Marines shakes it off.
Marines takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nagasaki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marines has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marines and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A nice side step and Marines releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Nagasaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Marines under the eye.

Marines is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Nagasaki throws a hook to the side of Marines's head but Marines sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Marines counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nagasaki pulls Marines in close to prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nagasaki is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Marines asserts his dominance and retains side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nagasaki scores with a sloppy right hand. Marines should have avoided that one.

Nice uppercut lands for Nagasaki. That snapped Marines's head back.

Marines closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nagasaki tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Marines manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marines avoids the attempt from Nagasaki to control.
Marines takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Marines has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marines's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Nagasaki is desperately trying to improve his position but Marines has a good base and remains in mount.
Tatak Marines has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nagasaki's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Tatak Marines will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Marines is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nagasaki rather than just go for the knockout.

Nagasaki tries to lock up and control but Marines gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tatak Marines comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Marines has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
