Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Lott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Test One!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lott fails to land with a series of punches.
One turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Lott throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. One tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lott is in One's guard.
Lott controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lott works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lott is nestled in close to One, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lott perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
One really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

One tries to get to full guard but Lott has control of the leg.
Lott slows the pace down in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
One is in trouble now - Lott has advanced to mount!
Lott fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One taking shots to the head.

Lott get's back to his feet.
Lott keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A combination from Lott does no damage.
One wants to clinch up but Lott keeps it at a distance.
Lott is looking to counter the offense by One and move into the clinch.

Lott fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging One to the ground. Lott is now in One's guard.
Lott controlling from the top position.
Lott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lott's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

One tries to clinch there but Lott circles away.

Lott closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. One quickly recovers to half guard.

Lott in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. One tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lott!
