Lloyd kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No Surrender . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd connects with a body shot that sends Westermann's belly button to the back.
Lloyd feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Westermann's calf.
Lloyd lands a nice looking body shot.
Lloyd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Westermann fails with a takedown attempt.

Lloyd lands a big uppercut and Westermann crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Westermann looks OK. Lloyd waves Westermann back to his feet!

Westermann is rocked!

It looks like Jack Westermann has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Westermann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Westermann walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Lloyd! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
