PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 1078 p4p, 132 weight class) and Buse Mann (ranked 710 p4p, 91 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Manu Chao - Mr. Bobby. Mann is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mann can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Black controls the pace.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mann. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mann pinned against the cage. Mann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Black tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Black somewhat.

Mann lands a right hand that snaps the head of Black backwards.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Maybe Black would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mann cracks Black with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Black tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mann pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Black is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buse Mann!
After the fight, Buse Mann was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
