The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A right-left combo lands from Turillo.
Neil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Turillo throws a counter combo.
Turillo is looking to land body kicks.
Turillo throws a leg kick that misses.
Neil shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Turillo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Neil misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Turillo.
A nice side step and Turillo releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A swing and a miss from Neil.
Neil scores with a nice strike.
Turillo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Neil is able to avoid easily.
Turillo is looking to land body kicks.

Some bone on bone action there as Neil checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

It seemed like Turillo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Neil needs to keep his hands up - Turillo had a free shot at his head there.

Turillo throws a low kick but Neil moves out of range easily.
Neil swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Neil cracks a nice hook into Turillo's ribs.

Vince Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neil misses the jab.
Turillo throws a leg kick which misses Neil's front leg but catches the back leg as Neil tries to avoid it.

and Turillo counters with a crisp right hand that drops Neil! Turillo lets Neil back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Neil is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neil gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Turillo gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Neil is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
