Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Metaxas (ranked 2594 p4p, 312 weight class) and Genji Kamogawa (ranked 21996 p4p, 602 weight class). Metaxas comes to the cage accompanied by Richard Humpty Vission-Superstar . Kamogawa has chosen Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard - Hungry as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Atlas Metaxas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Genji Kamogawa!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaxas slips a straight right by Kamogawa.

Metaxas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kamogawa tries to avoid it but Metaxas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kamogawa to the ground. Kamogawa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Kamogawa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Metaxas doesn't seem phased though.

Kamogawa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Metaxas had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Metaxas is nestled in close to Kamogawa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Genji Kamogawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
