The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chiba looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Malone lands a decent elbow from side control.
Chiba is looking for a sweep.

Chiba wants to control but Malone postures up.
Chiba gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Malone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chiba's face.
Malone lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

It looks like Sonny Chiba has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chiba takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Malone's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
