Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Li (ranked 2787 p4p, 330 weight class) and Hector Zorba (ranked 2504 p4p, 301 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Zorba!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Li.
It seemed like Zorba was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Li tries for a takedown but Zorba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zorba looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackie Li. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Li fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zorba swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Li shoots in and drives through. Zorba sprawls well.
Zorba defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Li.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Zorba counters with a crisp one two that drops Li! Zorba thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Li to his feet! Li is in big trouble!

Li is breathing heavily.
Li fails to land the takedown.
Li has been working on his balance at The Forge, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Zorba.

That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Zorba lands a beautiful left hook that drops Li. Li tries to recover but Zorba is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Li lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Zorba!
A relieved looking Hector Zorba thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
