Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Miko Dimelo!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dimelo moves into the clinch.
Dimelo lands a right hand.
Dimelo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Brown's efforts to push away.
Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good exchange - Dimelo coming out on top.
Brown blocks a jab.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brown throws a poor cross that misses
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dimelo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dimelo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dimelo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dimelo throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Dimelo throws a leg kick but Brown moved away.
Brown throws a hook but Dimelo avoids it easily.
Dimelo steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Dimelo saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dimelo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Dimelo motions for Brown to come forward. Dimelo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dimelo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Brown throws a chopping leg kick but Dimelo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Brown dips to his left and cracks Dimelo with an uppercut!
Dimelo blocks a head kick by Brown.
Brown lands a jab to Dimelo's midsection.
Brown feints a jab promting Dimelo to slip. Brown then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dimelo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nice jab there from Brown.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dimelo.
Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown avoids the body shot from Dimelo.
Dimelo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dimelo moves out of range as Brown strikes.
Brown throws a big shot that misses.

Brown is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brown throws a head kick but Dimelo moves out of range.

Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dimelo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dimelo throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Miko Dimelo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dimelo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brown looks to land a right hand but Dimelo moved out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dimelo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dimelo.

Brown tries to bum rush Dimelo with a series of wild strikes but Dimelo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brown throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dimelo counters with a beautiful hook that drops Brown to the mat! Will Brown be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Dimelo to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Brown is up. He looks OK to continue.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dimelo plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Brown swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Brown face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Miko Dimelo!
A relieved looking Miko Dimelo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
