Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Skog (ranked 3172 p4p, 356 weight class) and Andy Rothschild (ranked 3668 p4p, 385 weight class). Rothschild has chosen Iron Maiden- Wrathchild as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Rothschild!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothschild throws a looping overhand right but Skog ducks down to avoid it.
Skog tries to land a front kick but Rothschild steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skog. Rothschild does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rothschild cracks Skog with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Skog lands with an overhand left.
Skog goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Skog swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rothschild.
Rothschild throws a hook to the side of Skog's head but Skog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rothschild walks into a left hand.
Skog goes for a double leg but Rothschild avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rothschild continues to drive forward.
A slapping leg kick lands for Skog.
Skog throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rothschild looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Skog digs a good body shot into Rothschild's ribs.
A jab from Rothschild finds it's way through Skog's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rothschild connects with a good right hand that stumbles Skog. Skog circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rothschild digs a good body shot into Skog's ribs.
Oh Skog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Skog.
Skog seems to have got his legs back now.
Rothschild cracks Skog with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Skog looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rothschild finish him?
Skog throws a front kick aimed at Rothschild's knee but Rothschild avoids it well.
Skog stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rothschild.

Skog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rothschild is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skog.
Skog throws a solid leg kick but Rothschild takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Skog.
Rothschild tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Rothschild connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Skog's hands.
Horrible takedown attempt by Skog or perhaps it was just good defense by Rothschild, which made it look bad.
Andy Rothschild is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rothschild takes a swing at Skog's ribcage but misses.
Skog throwing a counter right hand but Rothschild manages to avoid it.
Skog on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rothschild is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Skog had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Skog lands with a hook. Rothschild tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rothschild. Skog shrugs it off though.

Rothschild throws a right and a left that Skog avoids nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Skog, as that shot connected.
Rothschild slips under a jab.

Skog scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Donk. Skog catches Rothschild right on the button with a cross.
Skog takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rothschild fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rothschild ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Skog looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rothschild misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Skog to counter with a crisp jab.
Skog lands a jab to the head.
Rothschild circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Skog drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rothschild follows Skog to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Andy Rothschild thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
