Bear kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Good Times. Seamus Johnson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seamus Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Bear catches Johnson right on the button with a cross.
Bear goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bear scores with a jab to the jaw.
Johnson throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bear lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bear stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bear wants it to stay on the feet.
We've been told by Bear's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bear bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson takes one to the chin there.
Bear closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Johnson rushes Bear and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bear is trying to break free.

Bear's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Bear.
Bear tries to break free but Johnson pushes him back against the cage.
Bear is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Johnson successfully pulls guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Johnson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bear postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it.
Johnson seems keen to control Bear's posture.
Bear is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bear lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Johnson working for a triangle but Bear defends it easily.
Johnson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson pulls Bear in close to prevent any damage.
Bear trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bear's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bear loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Bear advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bear controlling the pace.
Johnson wants to get back to full guard.

Johnson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Johnson is looking to control Bear's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnson avoid being mounted?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bear not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
Johnson taking some punishment here, with Bear in his half guard.
Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bear is working away from the top position though.
Bear is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Johnson won't allow Bear to pass to mount.
Bear throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Johnson is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnson wants to improve his position but Bear is controlling well.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bear. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bear throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bear is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Bear. No joy for Johnson on that attempt.
Decent striking displayed by Bear there.
Bear scores with a hook.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bear moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bear scores with a three punch combo!
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bear tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bear to the ground. Bear escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bear throwing a counter right hand but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Jer Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seamus Johnson.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Bear sprawls well.
Bear thuds a left hand into Johnson's body.
A jab from Bear finds it's way through Johnson's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jer Bear dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bear stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bear is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around?

Bear breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bear.
Johnson misses with a head kick.

Bear shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bear throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bear working over Johnson with some ground and pound. Johnson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bear slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead.

Bear seems to be looking for submissions.

Bear is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bear seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bear is working away from the top position though.

Bear gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Johnson tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it.
Bear connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A right-left combo lands from Bear.
Jer Bear is winning the standup battle so far.
Bear fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bear lands a high kick!


Johnson is rocked!
Johnson moves to clinch but Bear breaks away
and Bear counters with a big left hand that crumples Johnson! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jer Bear!
Our winner, Jer Bear, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
