Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suzuki Sakurai (ranked 6750 p4p, 521 weight class) and Juhani Jukola (ranked 4299 p4p, 433 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukola lands with a good body shot.
Jukola lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Suzuki Sakurai has been cut.
Jukola rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sakurai moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jukola throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sakurai on the side of the head.
Sakurai connects with a high kick.
Sakurai closes the distance and clinches up with Jukola, looking for a takedown. Sakurai pushes Jukola against the cage but Jukola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jukola circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sakurai tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jukola manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jukola throws out a leg kick but Sakurai moves out of range and Jukola only half commits.
Sakurai pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jukola back to the cage. Sakurai follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Suzuki Sakurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakurai is looking to clinch but Jukola is avoiding it.
Jukola appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sakurai doesn't manage to clinch there - Jukola circles away.

Jukola looks to land a right hand but Sakurai moved out of range.

Jukola avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jukola swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jukola looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It looked like Sakurai was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Sakurai gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jukola counters with a crisp one two that drops Sakurai! Jukola thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sakurai to his feet! Sakurai is in big trouble!
Sakurai takes one to the side of the head.
Jukola walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sakurai checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jukola cracks Sakurai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sakurai misses with a double jab.
Sakurai will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suzuki Sakurai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jukola swings for the body but Sakurai moves out of range.
Jukola misses the shot to the body.
Sakurai throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jukola counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Suzuki Sakurai's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sakurai fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jukola now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jukola lands a nice hook to Sakurai's body. Sakurai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jukola throws a body punch but Sakurai moves out of range.
Sakurai is looking for a counter combo.

Jukola feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sakurai sprawling to the canvas! Sakurai rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jukola finish him?!

Oh Sakurai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Suzuki Sakurai's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jukola connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Sakurai out cold! This one is over in a flash!
