Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wickmire Caskille (ranked 3209 p4p, 342 weight class) and Jakub Kowalski (ranked 5907 p4p, 501 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jakub Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kowalski dodges the punch combination from Caskille.
Kowalski tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Caskille throws a leg kick which misses Kowalski's front leg but catches the back leg as Kowalski tries to avoid it.
Kowalski takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Caskille lands a nice looking body shot.
Caskille connects with an inside leg kick.
Kowalski shoots in and drives through. Caskille sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Caskille is trying to control the position but Kowalski postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Caskille lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Caskille throws a head kick that Kowalski semi-blocks.
Caskille lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kowalski shoots in but no luck this time.
Kowalski closes the distance and clinches up with Caskille, looking for a takedown. Kowalski pushes Caskille against the cage but Caskille circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Caskille uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Kowalski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kowalski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kowalski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like Kowalski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kowalski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jakub Kowalski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kowalski dives in and grabs Caskille's left leg, looking for a takedown. Caskille pushes down on Kowalski's head and hops out.

Caskille feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kowalski's calf.

Caskille feints a jab promting Kowalski to slip. Caskille then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kowalski slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wickmire Caskille is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kowalski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kowalski shoots in looking for a takedown but Caskille manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kowalski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kowalski shoots for a double leg takedown but Caskille sprawls well. He's pushed Kowalski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Caskille scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kowalski doesn't seem bothered though.

Caskille feints and then cracks Kowalski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kowalski down.
Kowalski misses with a takedown attempt - Caskille sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Caskille buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Caskille connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Caskille fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kowalski.
Jakub Kowalski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That kick from Caskille tenderised Kowalski's leg. Kowalski is trying to keep his angry face on.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Caskille, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
