Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lee Dyson (ranked 5308 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kario Ray (ranked 5931 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray misses with a few strikes there.
Dyson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lee Dyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dyson gets the takedown into side control.
Dyson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ray will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dyson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ray regains guard.
Ray wants to stand and escape but Dyson is having none of it.
Dyson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ray can do to turn this around?

Ray is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dyson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dyson cracks Ray with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ray is breathing heavily.
Ray is in a horrible position here. Dyson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dyson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ray looks a forlorn figure.

That's time! Dyson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Dyson moves into the clinch.
Ray is pressed up against the cage. Dyson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ray down to the mat. Ray avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dyson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ray was covering up waiting for the punch and Dyson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lee Dyson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dyson distracts Ray with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dyson is looking to clinch but Ray is avoiding it.
Ray lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Dyson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dyson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Ray takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dyson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ray doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dyson.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dyson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
