Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hosea Dotson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dotson, pushing him back against the cage.

Dotson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Dotson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dotson throws a big counter combination but Silva scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dotson is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dotson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Silva's elbow.

Silva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dotson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva is looking to stand up but Dotson won't let him.
Dotson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dotson wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
