Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Israel Adesanya (ranked 5436 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Fury (ranked 21618 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Harvey Fury was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya keeps the fight on the outside.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fury is working for takedown but Adesanya is calmly controlling the position for now.
Adesanya swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Adesanya escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fury closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adesanya circles away.
Fury tries to clinch up.
An attempted straight right counter from Adesanya misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fury shoots for a takedown but Adesanya saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fury shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adesanya sprawls well. Adesanya wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
Adesanya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Adesanya. Fury shrugs it off though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fury with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adesanya to score with a decent uppercut.
Fury shoots for a double leg takedown but Adesanya sprawls well. He's pushed Fury's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Adesanya. Fury does a little dance to reset his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Fury or perhaps it was just good defense by Adesanya, which made it look bad.

Fury walks into a stiff left hand from Adesanya.
The fighters circle momentarily. Adesanya darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Adesanya stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Adesanya is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fury can do to turn this around?
Adesanya stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
Crunch! Adesanya slams his shin into Fury's torso.
Adesanya is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fury looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adesanya is fending him off so far but Fury persists. Nope, Adesanya circles away and we're back to standing.

Fury tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Adesanya counter with a right hand.

Adesanya feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fury sprawling to the canvas! Fury rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Adesanya finish him?!
Adesanya is looking to chop away at Fury's legs.
Fury tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Adesanya throws a body shot but no joy.

Oooooh!!! Adesanya has knocked Fury down with a huge combo! Adesanya steps away and waves a wobbly Fury back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adesanya closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Fury! Adesanya dives in looking to finish! Fury is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
