The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez swats away the attempt to clinch by Freight.

Mendez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Freight just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMendez.
Mendez tries to close the distance and clinch but Freight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ricky Mendez will probably get the nod.

Freight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
