Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy RoboTessin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RoboTessin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
RoboTessin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McGuire.
McGuire swings away with a body shot that misses
and RoboTessin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kevin McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
RoboTessin slips under a jab from McGuire.
RoboTessin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGuire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from RoboTessin.
RoboTessin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McGuire thuds a left hand into RoboTessin's body.
McGuire throws a leg kick which misses RoboTessin's front leg but catches the back leg as RoboTessin tries to avoid it.
McGuire scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

McGuire fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jab, jab by McGuire - just one landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire misses with a wild body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from RoboTessin misses the target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McGuire scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A head kick misses from McGuire.
McGuire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent RoboTessin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McGuire scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops RoboTessin to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.


It looks like Randy RoboTessin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
RoboTessin walks straight into a big right, left combination from McGuire and drops to the floor! Oh, he's out cold! He's out cold! Wow, that finish was brutal! Congratulations to McGuire as he moves his way up the rankings!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin McGuire!
A relieved looking Kevin McGuire thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
