The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov connects with a right hand. Sakuraba shakes it off.
Petrov looks to score with a jab to the body but Sakuraba is just out of range.
Sakuraba tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Petrov manages to circle out of the way.
Petrov misses with a body shot.

Sakuraba closes the distance and pushes Petrov back into the cage.
Sakuraba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Petrov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Sakuraba tightens his grip and picks Petrov up, before dumping him to the ground. Petrov manages to land in guard.
Sakuraba passes Petrov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sakuraba prevents Petrov from improving his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sakuraba in particular looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sakuraba wants to pass to mount but Petrov is defending the position.
